Over the weekend, Katy Perry—who graces this week’s cover of Entertainment Weekly—pulled ahead of Bieber in both Twitter followers and Facebook likes. Surpassing Bieber officially makes the “Roar” singer the most popular social media personality.
The pop star now has 46.55 million followers on Twitter and 59.27 million likes on Facebook. In comparison, Bieber currently has 46.52 million followers on Twitter and 57.28 million likes on Facebook.

Selena Gomez has been single for most of 2013, but the 21-year-old admits she's in no rush to find her next boyfriend.
After a high-profile romance with Justin Bieber, whom she split with earlier this year, Gomez has been focusing on herself and trying to get past the pain of a breakup. The "Come & Get It" singer covers the December 2013/January 2014 issue of Teen Vogue and reveals she was a bit "broken" following the end of her young romance.
"You fall in love and it completely consumes you," Gomez tells the magazine. "So a part of you is broken when that's gone. And part of you wants to have that rebellious feeling where you're just like, forget it -- I can do anything I want."
But despite trying to be a rule-breaker, the former Disney star admits she'll always be a "good girl."

The 19-year-old and a friend reportedly spent three hours in the popular brothel Centauros in Rio de Janeiro before he was spotted sneaking out, covered in a bed sheet. Sources tell Page Six he left with two women.
